Director of the Geography magazine for two years, Vice-president of the literature faculty of Kabul University for four years, in 1977 as the head of the literature faculty, since 2006 as advisor of the ministry of higher education, i 2007 as head of the exams department of ministry of higher education, Chancellor of Kabul University (2008-20120900)
3. Biodata: Hamidullah Amin was born 1941 in one of the villages of Bagrami district in Kabul province. He completed his primary education in Daqeeqi School and high education in Habibia high school and was enrolled to the faculty of Literature and Human Science in 1960. He graduated from department of History and Geography of the mentioned faculty in 1963.
From the date graduated he worked in department of History and Geography of Literature and Human Science faculty. He finished his M.A at Durham University of England in 1968. In 1976, he did research and taught at department of Geography, Nebraska University through the teacher exchange program (fellowship program) between Kabul University and Nebraska University (18 month). He fled Afghanistan 1988 and worked as a lecturer in Dawat-u-Jihad University and other UN organizations for refugees while he himself was living as a refugee in Peshawar of Pakistan. Thereafter he worked for 14 years at Macquarie University in Australia, before returning to Kabul to become Chancellor.
