3. Biodata: Kubra Aman, daughter of Mohammed Aman, was born in 1949 in the village of Qalatak in Kuz Kunar district. She completed her primary and intermediate education at Allahi High School in Nangarhar province and her secondary education at Ayesha Durrani High School in Kabul. After graduating from high school, she was appointed as a teacher at Allahi High School. At the same time, she enrolled in the Teacher Training Institute of Nangarhar, completing her studies in 1971. Aman served as a teacher in Allahi High School and Miya Omar High School. She was also a principal at Bibi Ayesha Sidiqa, Shaheed Muhammad Arif and Allahi high schools in Nangarhar. Aman went to Pakistan during the reign of the Taliban, and in 1994 she joined an Afghan German organization based in Peshawar, where she taught literacy and vocational skills to Afghan women. She participated in the Constitutional Loya Jirga. Aman has been awarded a promotion as well as a month’s bonus salary. She is not affiliated with a political party. She was appointed to the Meshrano Jirga by the President. She is married and has four children.
She speaks Pashto, Dari and is familiar with English. |
