3. Biodata:
Raees Abdul Baqi Malikzada, son of Haji Abdul Aziz, was born in 1969 in Farkhar district of Takhar province.  Malik Zada completed his secondary education at Samae Shahed High School, Takhar province, in 2000. He is currently (2012) a student of Economics in his fifth year at the National University of Tajikistan. Malik Zada is in the clothing business in Takhar province. Since 1985, he has owned a shop and has been the head of imports and exports for his business.

Malik Zada participated in the Emergency Loya Jirga in 2002 and the Constitutional Loya Jirga in 2003 for Takhar province.

Malikzada is close to Jamiat-e-Islami and is the brother in law to  General Doud Doud, Chief of the Northern Police zone.  He was a member of the committee on financial and budget affairs in Wolesi Jirga 2005. In the 2010 elections he bagged most votes.

Raees Abdul Baqi's father, Abdul Aziz,  was abducted by unidentified gunmen in the second police district in  Kunduz Province. (20110726)  Abdul Aziz is a money changer and owns a shop in Kundoz City. He also exports dried fruits from Afghanistan to Tajikistan.

He is married and has three daughters and four sons.

Malikzada speaks Dari, Pashtu and Uzbek.
