3. Biodata:
Khwari_Dr_MasumaDr. Masoma Khawri Masoomeh Khavari, daughter of Juma Khan, was born in 1985 in Iran. Her family is originally from the Dara-e Suf Bala district in Samangan province. Khawri completed her primary education in 1992 and her secondary education in 2000 in Iran. She then enrolled in a professional school, where she studied art and graduated in 2002. Following, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Ankara University in Turkey in 2009. She ‎received her bachelor's degree in law and political science from Payame Noor University in ‎Kabul ‎2019‎. And is currently continuing  a master's degree in management.
 

During her time in Iran and in Turkey, Khawri participated in political and social activities. She founded the Afghan University Student’s Association, which explored the issues of Afghan students living in Turkey. Khawri has worked in various Turkish hospitals, including the Ibn-e-Sina hospital and the Medical University of Ankara. She returned to Afghanistan in 2009.
 

Dr. Masooma Khawri is close to Mohaqiq and Hezb-e-Wahdat Islami Mardom Afghanistan.

The only woman nominee Masooma Khawari was approved as minister of telecommunication and information technology with 154 votes in favor, 67 votes against and 25 unmarked votes.(20201121)
