3.Biodata:
Kakar_FaribaFariba Ahmadi Kakar daughter of Ali Ahmed was born 1965 in Kandahar Province. She learned to read and write in a elementary school and developed educating herself as a teacher without study at a university. (Other source: Kakar graduated from the Aeno Girls’ High School in Kandahar in 1983.)

Fariba Ahmadi Kakar supported President Karzai. She  was a member of the communications committee of Wolesi Jirga 2005.

Fariba Ahmadi Kakar was abducted late on August 10 along with her two children in Ghazni Province while traveling from the southern city of Kandahar to Kabul.(20130811)
 

The husband of Kakar, Mohammad Dawood, is refuting reports that she has been abducted by insurgents and said that reports of her kidnapping while traveling between Kandahar and Kabul were "propaganda. He said his wife left for Turkey on August 10 as part of an official visit planned by the parliament.

But the head of the local assembly in Kandahar Province, Saeed Jan Khakrezwal, says Kakar's husband is mistaken. He said that Kakar stayed in Kandahar during Ramadan and did not go to Turkey. He also said Kakar's four children, her driver, and a cook also were kidnapped by gunmen as they were traveling through Ghazni Province. Khakrizwal further added that Fariba Kakar was abducted by armed robbers, and she has been kidnapped for ransom. (20130812) Fariba Ahmadi Kakar’s three daughters and a driver were later released, a police commander said, but her kidnappers were demanding four Taliban prisoners in exchange for the parliamentarian. Fariba Ahmadi Kakar, one of 69 female MPs in the 249-seat Lower House, was taken at gunpoint in August and held for three weeks before being released, reportedly in exchange for six Taleban prisoners. The National Directorate of Security (NDS) now said that her brother Noor Ahmad had been arrested on charges of being a key accomplice behind the kidnapping.(20131002)
