Janab_SahibSaid Muhammad Musa Janab, son of Sayed Fariduddin, was born in 1963 in the center of Badghis province.He comes from a religious family, and is himself a religious leader of Naqshbandiyyah Tariqa (Sufism) and a teacher of Islamic studies. Janab attended a private school for Islamic Studies and graduated from the Islamic Neamati Madrasa in Badghis province in 1979. Janab was head of the Electoral Complaints Commission (ECC) in Badghis province during the 2005 election.

Sayed Muhammad Musa Janab Sahib Jenabzada Jinab is an independent Woelsi Jirga 2010 member. He bagged most votes in Wolesi Jirga 2010 election
 

Sayed Mohammad Musa, lawmaker from Badghis, came under gun attack in Shalban area of Herat City, the provincial capital.

"Musa was shopping in Shalban area when two motorcyclists opened fire at him around 10:30am 20160825," he said.

He added the lawmaker was evacuated to the Herat zonal hospital. He had received wounds in the stomach. However, he said the injured was in stable condition.(20160825)

 

He is married and has nine children.
 

He speaks Dari, Turkish and Arabic.
