3. Biodata:
izedyar_alamAl-Haj Mohammed Alam Izadyar Ezidyar, son of Al-Haj Mohammed Aslam Khan, was born 1963 in Paranda village of Bazarak District, Panjshir province. He completed his primary and secondary education in schools located in Parande of Bazarak from 1969 to 1977 and his high school education in Ibn Sina High School in Kabul from 1978 to 1981. He holds a post-baccalaureate certificate in Islamic sciences and teacher training from the Institute of Islamic Sciences and Teacher Training in Peshawar, Pakistan. Current residence: 4th Macroryan, District 9, Kabul.

He continued his education from 1991 to 2004. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law and political sciences and he majored in administration and diplomacy at Pakistan University of Political Sciences and Kabul University. He has also received other educational documents and certificates in journalism, administration and production of TV programs from institutions in Iran, Germany and Japan.

While serving as a teacher in Parande School in Panjshir, Izadyar also participated in the jihad against the Red Army in Panjshir and the Shamali Plains. He was a deputy organizer of an exhibition of the Afghan jihad in Peshawar in 1989. From 1989 to 1990 he served as the editor-in-chief of Sobh-e Peroozi, the Dawn of Triumph gazette and the Information Dissemination Body of the Mujahideen Interim Government in Peshawar, Pakistan.

After the Islamic Revolution in 1992, he served as international news director for the state-run Bakhtar News Agency. He was also deputy general director of Bakhtar News Agency in 1996. Izadyar headed RTA Takhar during the resistance period. From 1997 to 2001, he was the director of the Department of Information and Culture in Parwan province.

In 2001, he was responsible for the first independent radio in Afghanistan, the Voice of Peace. From 2001 to 2002, he served as RTA director. From 2002 to 2004, he served as the deputy to the general director of RTA. Afterwards, he served as deputy director of Afghan Advertisements. From 2004 to 2005, he served as the director of the Panjshir Department of Information, Culture and Tourism. Izadyar was an elected representative to the Emergency Loya Jirga. He also participated in international conferences and discussions in Iran, India, Turkey, Germany, England, Tajikistan, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He was imprisoned for two years in Pul-e-Charkhi Prison for his resistance activities against the Soviets. Izadyar translated “Al-Azer-ul-Alam-ul-Islami” into Dari for Irshad magazine. Similarly, he has written and published dozens of articles on political, social and cultural issues in local gazettes as well as newspapers. Izadyar was indirectly elected to the Meshrano Jirga after winning by an absolute majority in the 2005 Provincial Council elections of Panjshir. He is a former member of Jamiat-e Islami. He is not affiliated with a political party currently. He was the Chairman of Meshrano Jirga's International Relations Commission (2008) He was elected first deputy chairman of the Senate, upper house of Parliament, on Saturday 29. Jan. 2011.

Senator Mohammad Alam Ezidyar from central Panjsher province had been elected as chairman of “National Solidarity” bloc in Meshrano Jirga, Amina Afzalli from western Herat province as deputy chairperson, Taib Ata from eastern Kunar province as second deputy chairman, Anar Kali Hunaryar from southeastern Khost as secretary.(20160404)

Mohammad Salim Ezadyar, the son of Mohammad Alam  Ezadyar,  deputy speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament, Meshrano Jirga, Senate House, has been killed during protests in Kabul. He initially sustained injuries during the protest and succumbed to it after he was taken to hospital.(20170602)

He is married and has seven children.
