Maulvi Shamsuddin Sharifi Mawlawi Sharifi was born 1968 and hails from the main district of Kesham of Badakhshan province and has previously served as the Governor of Paktia, Maidan Wardak, and as a deputy of the Commission for Combating Civil Losses and receiving civilian Complaints. He expressed concern about the brutal deforestation and said, “The Taliban interim government is determined to prevent deforestation and smuggling.”

Therefore, for this purpose, a 400-military unit will be created to retake the seized lands of the MAIL and the protection of the country’s indigenous forests, he added.(20211122)
