3. Biodata:
Sardar Muhammad Shokaib Sardar Ahmad Shakib aka Qari Yousuf Ahmadi is an ethnic Pashtun from Zabul province and has served in the Information and Cultural Department in southern Kandahar and was associated with a Taliban magazine. He once worked as the Taliban spokesman under the name of Qari Yousaf Ahmadi and was arrested in Pakistan and later lived in Peshawar for several years.

 

The chargés d'affaires of Afghanistan’s embassy in Islamabad criticized the existence of corruption in the issuance of Pakistani visas to Afghans. .“They either don’t issue visas or make the conditions very tough. The people are being forced to contact some individuals and pay them $1,500 to $2,000,” Shakib said. 
 

The government of Pakistan has then announced that Shakib’s appointment does not reflect the recognition of the Islamic Emirate’s administration in Kabul.
