Nur Ahmad Sikandar was parliamentary elections' possible candidate 2018. His name was removed from the list of contestants from Parwan. Angry protesters accused Nur Ahmad Sikandar, a local commander, of killing a young man in the district. They claimed the commander was linked with Abdullah Abdullah, chairman of High Council for National Reconciliation (HCNR), and set afire pictures of Dr. Abdullah.(20210606)
