3. Biodata:
Abdul Matin Baig Matin Bek Matin Beg Abdul Mateen Baig Abdul Matin Bik was born 1987 in Hazare Smooch district of Takhar Province. He is the son of Mutalib Bek, Member of Wolesi Jirga, who in the afternoon of Dec. 25, 2011 in  Taloqan, Takhar Province was killed by a suicide bomber. Mutalib Bek was a former commander of the Mujahedin, the anti-Soviet resistance. He later joined the United Front — a coalition of anti-Taliban fighters — and played a key role in the war against the Taliban and Al Qaeda in northern Afghanistan. Abdul Matin Bek is a tribal leader in Takhar Province who is active in national politics in Kabul.

He accomplished his secondary education at Amani High School in 2004. Bek received his bachelor degree in political science from Delhi University in 2008 and obtained his Master degree in the same field from Jawaher Lal Nehru University on 2010.

He has served previously as advisor the ministry of Interior and also as deputy minister for administrative and financial affairs of the Independent Directorate for Local Governance of Afghanistan for four years. He travelled across Afgahnistan for IDLG in all Provinces and is well suited for the Deputy Director General in Provincial affairs National Directorate of Security.

Abdul Matin Beyk has been appointed by President Ghani's decree as senior adviser to the president on political and public affairs.(20200621)
