Rezwanullah Ahmadzai Rizwan Ullah Ahmadzai was born 1979 in Khost Province. He received his Primary and Secondary Education at Fatha Highschool and was awarded M.B.B.S. from Aryana University. City Laboratory started testing 20200615. City laboratory in Kabul owned by Rezwanullah Ahmadzai, Presidential Adviser, has been awarded a contract by the Presidential Palace to conduct COVID-19 tests for passengers traveling to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, according to documents. Masih Noori, head of the office of Rezwanullah who has signed with the UAE company G42 on behalf of the Afghan government and the City Laboratory, said that Rezwan has had no role in awarding the contract. City Laboratory admitted that UAE-bound passengers and those who are traveling to other countries are provided the same service for COVID-19 testing. But the lab charges 4,500 Afs for each COVID-19 test, which is 1,000 Afs higher than other labs. The maximum price for COVID-19 testing set by the Ministry of Public Health is 3,500 Afs while it is done for 1,700 by some labs. City Laboratory declined to provide details on the contract. But based on a copy of the contract seen by TOLOnews, the lab shall pay $130,000 monthly for technical support and $130,000 a month for advising and management to the Emirati company.
