3. Biodata:
Fahimi_HussainMohammad Hussain Fahimi was born 1962 in Dushhak District, Sar-i-Pul Province. Fahemi received his bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies in Iran. He is currently (2012) a fourth class student of Law and Politics at the Kateb Private University in Kabul.

During the Soviet-Afghan war and the Afghan civil war he served as a Commander in the Hezb-e Wahdat. Jirga]]. Before being elected as a MP, he served as Provincial Planning Official and District Governor of Balkhab District. (other source say Dara-e-Suf Payin District) In 2007 Fahimi was named as the Deputy Chairman of the Fifth Parliamentary Group, which was a coalition of MPs largely comprised of pro-government members of parliament in the Wolesi Jirga. Fahimi is close to Khalili.

He bagged most votes in the 2005 Elections in Saripol Province. In April 2007, media reported the establishment of the fifth Parliamentary Group in Wolesi Jirga. This new group is called "Afghanistan". The Leader of this group is the former Deputy Minister of Counter Narcotics and MP from Nangarhar province Mirwais Yasseni. This Parliamentary Group has 41 members, Mohmmad Hussain Fahimi MP from Saripol province is the Deputy and Homaira Akakhil, MP from Balkh province is the Secretary of this group.

May 2009, 16 Fahimi was on his way between Baghlan and Samangan Provinces. He was beaten up by Samangan Provincial Police although he identified himself as a MNA.

In 2011 he was appointed Chairperson of the Oversight of Law Committee on the Wolesi Jirga.
 

He is married with seven sons.
