3.Biodata:
Arfan_ArfanullahMawlawi Erfanullah Erfan Erfanullah Irfan Irfan Ullah Irfan Arfanullah Arfan s/o Mollah Sabhanullah was born in 1971 in Farzah district, Kabul province. Erfan finished twelfth class in 1990 at a private Islamic madrasa. He then enrolled at the Dawat Jahad University in Pakistan in 1990 and studied Islamic Fiqh (jurisprudence) and Law, graduating in 1994. Bachelor in islamic education.

Mawlawi Erfanullah Erfan was a member of the parliamentary commission on countering narcotics, intoxicating beverages and moral corruption. He hails from Farza and has no affiliation to a particular party, but is a conservative and member of the Committee on the Fight against Drugs and Moral Corruption. In this capacity he has supported moves to ban public dancing, the consumption of alcohol, and Indian soap operas from being broadcast on private TV networks, which he criticised as “foreign to the Afghan mentality and culture”.

Erfan is a religious conservative and has been outspoken in parliament in supporting bans on public dancing, the consumption of alcohol and Indian soap operas.
