3. Biodata:
Qazi Mir Afghan Safi was born 1975 in Kabul. He has completed school in 2003 in Kabul city and obtained his bachelor’s degree in law from Kabul University in 2009. He is an ethnic Pashtun and has been an independent candidate for parliamentary elections. Prior to entering Afghan parliament, Safi was involved in business operations. He has also served as the head of Afghanistan Money Exchange Union.
 

His name that has emerged in connection with PTM’s money trail, contact with money change and assistance in channeling the funds through Hawala/Hundi. Alhaj Qazi Mir Afghan Safi Qazi Mir Safi received 5,968 votes in 2018 Wolesi Jirga election and got a seat in WJ 2018.

He is the Head of the finance and budget committee of the Wolesi Jirga.(20210112)
