3. Biodata Mohammad Omar Daudzai:
Mohammad Omar Daudzai Umer Dawoodzai Davodzi Umar Daudzai was born Oct. 12, 1957 in the Qarabagh District of the Kabul Province, Afghanistan. He grew up and completed his primary education in his home district of Qarabagh. In order to continue his higher education, Omar moved to the capital city Kabul. After independently fighting against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan for many years, he finally settled in Peshawar, Pakistan where he worked for the organization called "Save the Children". While working for this organization he went to the Oxford University in the UK for his Masters in Science through a scholarship program. After completing his Masters he came back to work for the Swedish Committee in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.
Omar Dawoodzai was also a former member of the Hezbi Islami party of Afghanistan led by Gulbuddin Hekmatyar.
Mohammad Omar Daudzai, is involved in massive corruption, opium dealing and colluding with the Iranian government. Daudzai is depicted as an "Evil Wazir," a wicked figure prominent in ancient Persian folklore and the epic poem "Shahnama." He and Karzai's brother Ahmad Wali both are castigated for taking "gold monthly from the boss of American intelligence" — meaning the CIA. Though this charge is hardly new, the accusation that Daudzai is also in "the pay of the Persians" is a virtual improvised explosive device. So, too, is the claim that Karzai — described as the "misguided king of Kabul" — has himself "taken Persian gold" and allowed Iranian spies to "operate freely in Kabul and the provinces." Umar Daudzai, had received regular cash payments from Iran. The payments were intended to secure the allegiance of Daudzai, who was a former ambassador to Tehran who briefed Karzai daily and consistently advocates an anti-Western line. (2010114)

In an interview in his residence in Islamabad, Omar Dawoodzai said he would campaign on a manifesto of maintaining good relations with the West, anti-corruption reforms, eradication of poppy growing and a shift of power away from the group of ageing former warlords who have run the country since 2001.
Omar Daudzai on 20130818 announced his nomination for the 2014 presidential ballot. Afghan President Hamid Karzai has named his second new Interior Minister in a year, removing former policeman Ghulam Mujtaba Patang and installing presidential hopeful and ambassador to Pakistan Umer Daudzai in his place. (20130901) That this appointment ends Daudzai’s presidential ambitions was confirmed by his campaign office chief, Muhammad Sangar Amirzada. Daudzai has apparently understood that he was no longer the first choice of either the President – after having been counted among the favourites for a long time – or his party, Hezb-e Islami.
