Background:
Tebyan Social and Cultural Center is located in Dasht-i-Barchi area of Kabul City. The compound comprises an office of the Afghan Voice news agency, a Shia cultural centre and a religious school. At least 40 people were killed and 30 injured in a suicide attack on Thursday Dec. 28, 2017 at the cultural and religious centre in western Kabul. The suicide blast was followed by two more explosions in the same area.
