1.         Independent Association of Balk Writers:
The Independent Association of Balkh Writers has a focus to promote literary activities since its formation in northern Balkh Province in 1977. Salih Mohammad Khaliq, director of information and culture of Balkh heads the association, which organizes weekly literary meetings. 
2.         Literary Caravan of Maulana Jallaludin Mohammad Balkhi:
Since 1981, the Literary Caravan of Maulana Jallaludin Mohammad Balkhi takes forward the noble cause of literary works in the northern Balkh Province. Heading by Mohammad Omar Farzad, The association has dozens of its members.
3.         Maulana Home:
Striving to promote the cultural and literary areas, the Maulana Home has been established under the leadership of Atta Mohammad Noor in northern Balkh Province in 2006.
4.         Reform and Conventional Jirga of North People:
Focusing on promotion of multidimensional areas, the Reform and Conventional Jirga of North People focuses on bolstering cultural and literary fields and holding small Jirgas. It is led by Haji Abdul Satar Ishaqzai and is formed in 2004. It holds small Jirgas in an apparent attempt to resolve local disputes of the tribes. The association holds fortnightly gatherings on current issues.
 5.        Afghanistan North Journalist’s Association:
The Afghanistan North Journalist’s Association is established by journalists of northern zone in Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital city of Balkh Province over the last few years. The association is headed by Samiullah Ghokton and has more than 60 members.
6.         Balkh Media House:
Funded by Media Tek Organization, the Balkh Media House is a known journalistic services delivery institution functioning in northern Balkh Province. Led by Rahimi, the organization conducts journalism training elsewhere in the province.
7.         Arianna Afghan Filmmaking Organization:
Arianna Afghan Filmmaking Organization focuses to promote arts in Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital city of northern Balkh Province since 2004. Headed by Mohammad Sadiq Sarmast, the organization stages arts related activities.
 
8.         Torya Wana Filmmaking Organization:
The Torya Wana Filmmaking Organization promotes arts and cultural activities in the province. It is formed in 2007 in Mazar-i-Sharif city of northern Balkh Province. It is led by Habib Mustafa.
9.         Nageen Filmmaking Organization:
Nageen Filmmaking Organization is established in 2007 in the northern Balkh Province by Mohammad Qayum Rassouli. The organization focuses on promotion of arts.
10.       Homa Filmmaking Organization:
Led by Ahmad Zaki, Homa Filmmaking Organization is promoting arts related activities in Mazar-i-Sharif city since 2007.
11.       Noor Cultural Foundation:
The Noor Cultural Foundation is working on areas such as social and cultural fields over the last eight years in northern Balkh Province. Headed by Ghulam Ali Rezayee, its office is located in Marmal Street of Mazar-i-Sharif city and holds weekly meetings.
12.       Balkh Literary Movement:
Balkh Literary Movement is working on social, literary, and cultural fields in northern Balkh Province since 2009. The association is led by Zabihullah Ihsas and has subsidiary branches in various districts of the province.
 13.      Literary Caravan of Momand Baba:
The Literary Caravan of Momand Baba is an organization of Pashton youth aimed at enhancing Pashto language in northern Balkh Province. Established in 2005, the Literary Caravan of Momand Baba holds weekly literary meetings and has dozens of members. Ghulam Rassoul Malikzai is heading the organization.
14.       Literary and Social Caravan of Balkh Woman:
The Literary and Social Caravan of Balkh Woman is a literary and social caravan of Pashton girls in northern Balkh Province. Established in 2008, it conducts weekly literary meetings for promotion of Pashto language in the province. The organization is headed by Saina Sapai and has 15 members.
15.       Umil Bild Literary Caravan:
The Umil Bilad is a literary caravan of Pashton youth in the Balkh District, and holds weekly literary sessions. Led by Ghulam Bashir Malikzai, the Caravan has timely Pashto broadcasts known as Pul, which was established in 2007.
16.       Chaharbolak Literary Caravan:
The Chaharbolak Literary Caravan is established by Pashton youth in the Chaharbolak District of northern Balk Province in 2013. It aim is to promote Pashto language. Dozens of youth attends its weekly meetings.
17.       Balkh Stories Home:
Balkh Stories Home is operational for the last four years in northern Balkh Province. It is mostly focuses on story writing, and exploring training opportunities in areas of story writing for youth in northern Balkh Province. 
18.       Cultural Centre of Mirza Alaghbaik:
Led by Hidayatullah Hedayat, the Cultural Centre of Mirza Alaghbai is working to promote cultural sector in northern Balkh Province over the last six years.
19.       Academic and Cultural Association of Zahirodin Babor:
Led by Mohammad Azim Shadab, the Academic and Cultural Association of Zahirodin Babor is working to promote educational and cultural activities. It has been working over the last eight years.
20.       Knowledge Cultural Foundation:
Led by Abdul Rahman Rahmani, the Knowledge Cultural Foundation has its focus on promotion of Islamic and Cultural fields. It has been working in northern Balkh Province over the last five years.
21.       Hunaristan “Conservatory” of Naqshbandi:
The Hunaristan of Nagshbandi is working to promote arts over the last decade in northern Balkh Province. Headed by Mohammad Sabir Naqshbandi, the organization functions in areas such as painting and has trained dozens youth in this regard.
