The two tribes — Pahlawan and Bain — from the Taiwari district remained enemies of one another for decades and this enmity inflicted bloodshed and loss of precious lives on both sides. The past 40 years of this feud they rendered irreparable losses.

The two sides recently overcome their decades old feud and now live a peaceful live in a friendly environment. It is worth mentioning that the Pahlawan tribe had the membership of Jamiat-i-Islami Party led by Burhanuddin Rabbani and the Bain tribe were the supporters of Hizb-e-Islami Afghanistan (HIA) led by Gulbuddin Hekmatyar.(20221212)
