3. Biodata:
Shukrullah Atif Mashal Atif Mishal went to Habibia High School (2001-2003) Later graduated from the American University of Kabul in Political Science and Public Administration. (2010-2013) He has nearly 12 years working experience in management and leadership. He started his career as Special Assistant to Attorney General in Kabul. He was appointed as new Chairman of the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) for next five years, replacing Nasimullah Danish, following a decree issued by  President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai.

Atif Mashal has resigned as chairman of the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB), with three-and-a-half years of his five-year term still remaining.(20180919)

Atif Mashal will replace Omar Zakhilwal as Afghanistan ambassador to Pakistan. Zakhilwal had stepped back as ambassador two months ago (Aug 2018), though his resignation was not accepted by the president.(20181001)

On Sunday Jan 12, 2020 it was confirmed that Mashal offered his resignation letter to President Ghani and the president agreed with the resignation. The reason of resign was apparently that Mashal wanted to continue his higher education in abroad, but the source said that his recent comments regarding the Durand Line turned into a controversy and forced him to leave his job a Afghanistan’s envoy to a country accused of running interfering policies.
