3. Biodata

Ahmad Murtaza Habibyar was born  2nd January 1983 in Laghman Province. He grew up in Jalalabad. In 2007 he was awarded BA-Honors / Law & Political Science / Nangarhar University, Jalalabad, Afghanistan.

He is a Social and PEACE Activist, Country Representative of Afghanistan for MY FACE FOR PEACE Project (Germany), Global Preach Peace Foundation PEACE Ambassador, Co-Founder at National Stability Society (NSS) and Founder/Director of Lawyers for Rule of Law and Democracy Organization (LRLDO).

Currently he is working with local multiple Peace building organizations and communities, charity and child rights foundations and youth activist in capital city Kabul and east region of Afghanistan.

He speaks Pashtu Dari Urdu and English.

Ahmad Murtaza Habibyar, was born 2nd January 1983, grew up in Jalalabad, Social and PEACE Activist, Country Representative of Afghanistan for MY FACE FOR PEACE Project (Germany), Global Preach Peace Foundation PEACE Ambassador, and Founder/Director of Lawyers for Rule of Law and Democracy Organization (LRLDO).

He received his B.A Degree in Law and Political Science from Nangarhar University Afghanistan in 2007. 

He served and worked in the following Governmental and international organizations in Afghanistan since last couple of years, Office of the President, Office of the Governor of Maidan Wardak, Independent Election Commission, Independent Electoral Complaints Commission, Independent Commission for Overseeing the Implementation of Constitution and Joint Electoral Management Body (JEMB)-UNAMA, CTG Global, UNDP Elect, JSSP-INL-PAE. Worked in all Public Participations Events (Elections) in Afghanistan. 

During the work with Office of the president the Government Accountability to the Nation was the task that he arranged with his M & E Department work Team. In Maidan Wardak Province he arranged for the first time in Central Zone (Central Zone Governors Meeting) with Coordination of (Governors Support Sector) of IDLG. Mr. Habibyar attended many Trainings and workshops such as Environment/ Infrastructure services, Good Governance, Land Management and informal Settlement, Local Economic Development which Conducted by UN-Habitat and Jalalabad Municipality, Voting and Counting Civic Education, Electoral Public Outreach, and DFCs` Trainings by IEC, Constitution Outreach and others Trainings and workshops.
In addition to his extensive Admin experience, he have excellent communication skills. He always maintain a gracious and professional manner when communicating with people and staff, his broad Managerial experience and different range of skills and working for making peace possible in Afghanistan make him, a superior candidate for N-Peace Awards 2016.
