3. Biodata:
Ustad Mrs. Maliha Hassan was born in 1970 in Kabul. She has two brothers and five sisters. Her place of origin is Ghazni province but she always lived in Kabul. She went to Gawhari primary school. Maleeha Hasan completed her higher school education in Rabia Balkhi high school. Maliha Hassan was one of the incoming class of Afghan women participating in the Initiative to Educate Afghan Women at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I.. (20030814) Hassan has completed her studies at the master level in Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, USA. She is one of the well-known Afghan women whom served in a political seat and played a major role in supporting and recruitment of female and young professionals in the Government of Afghanistan. She has also served as Director General of Appeals Board of Afghanistan Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission, where she was able to successfully resolve many civil servants complains and established a new work procedure for better handling of civil servants appeals. and has served in different sectors, including as commissioner in adminnistrative reforms and civil services.

She has served with the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, United Nations Development Program, UNHCR, and other institutions, according to her biography. This comes as the government of national unity promised to step up efforts in a bid to empower the women and increase their role in the leadership level of the government.

She speaks Dari and English.
