3. Biodata:
Abdul Karim Mateen Abdul Karim Matin was born 1979 in Afghanistan. 
Matin went to Gazi High School and studied at Kabul University. He was an MRRD Official for Urban Rainwater Harvesting
 and the Regional Coordinator for Southern Region of Afghanistan. Abdul Kareem Matin in 2013 paticipated at a public gathering held by the AIHRC to discuss honour killings. (20130413)
 

Mateen has escaped unharmed from an armed attack. He was visiting the security check posts in the outskirts of Sharana, provincial capital, when he came under Taliban attack on Friday, 09. Jan. 2015.

Abdul Karim Matin has been removed from his position following the decision taken by the National Security Council (NSC). Earlier, Abdul Karim Matin alleged that the NSC had disbursed $200,000 amount among families that belonged to Daesh. The NSC rejected the allegations and said previous government provided financial assistance of $200,000 to refugee families from North Waziristan and South Waziristan to Paktika and few other districts.(20150509)
