3. Biodata:
Fana FrozanDr. Frozan Fana, daughter of Gen. Mohammad Shafi, was born in 1969 in Kabul. She was graduated from Amena Fedawi High School and after that joined Kabul University and graduated from Kabul Medical Faculty.
 
She was a member of the youth association during her higher education.
 
Following graduation she served in Kabul Polytechnic clinic, in Wazir Akbar Khan hospital in orthopedics and trauma wards and served as advisor to a health NGO in Afghanistan.
 
Her husband Dr Abdul Rahman, Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism, was beaten to death in an attack at the airport 20020215.
 
Her son drowned in Salang district of Parwan province in 2006. She is currently living with her daughter Mehria.

Forozan Fana was a candidate in the Presidential election 2009. Her running mates as First Deputy was Nasimullah Darman Mohammad Nasim Darmand and Second Deputy Ghulam Jailani Satari.
