In the year 1357 SY and 7th of Sawr (2nd Month of SY Calendar) at the commands of Russians Government the Communists coupled and invaded Afghanistan, they laid the stone of destruction and devastation in Afghanistan. By the beginning of Communist Regime and reign in to the country the people began to say and shout Hurrah and Allah ho Akbar (Allah is great) National and Islamic fallings of the country people began to state and revolt against the Communist Regime. With the coming of the Russian forces and power in the country, the people of Afghanistan began revolting against them. With the passage of short term these revolts adopted national and Islamic shape and image.
In the year 1358 SY on the First day of Eid ul Fitter the people of Wardak province for the purpose of the national solidarity, provoke and Jihad leader held a grand gathering and the elders, aged people, intellectual, scholars and youth pulled up and shake the first Islamic flag against the Russian invaders at the Gurbath historical mountain at the Sam Ghali area.
By passing of time the brave and bold Mujahidin joined and accompanied with the Gurbath bravery Jihad Station group and caravan. On the same year in the month of Asad (5th month of the SY) by the suggestion and proposal of the Wardak province elders, aged people, intellectuals and scholars held an assembly(Jirga) The following people participated in that Jirga and high level meeting such as:
Mawlavi Abdur Rahman Akhand Zada, Yousaf Khelo Akhund Zada, Malek Mohammad. Hussain khan form Chardihi, Jihad leader, Mudir Ghamai Wardak,Mawlavi Rafiullah Mauzan, Malek Mohammad Hasham Khan, Mamoor Sardar Khan, Hajji Sahib Mohammad Wazir Khan, Bahawal Khan, Mawlavi Fazal Qadeem Akhwanzada, Mohammad Kabir Khan from Hassan Kheil village, Qazi Gulabuddin Khan from Said Abad village, Mawlavi Mohamood Akhund Zada, Martyred Engineer Abdul Mateen Khan, Mawlavi Mohammad Saeed Pacha, Qazi Mohammad Karim Haidery, Rahim Khan, Martyred Gul Wazir Khan, Prosecutor Shah Rasool Khan and others…
About two hundred people participated and were gathered in this Jirga. After communications, consultations and advices it was decided and declared Jihad against the Communist Regime.
Ghazi Bismillah Khan Wardak was a Jihad leader, unique, fighter and brave man, with little and limited possibilities and equipments competed and fought bravely against the enemies of the country.
Ghazi Bismillah Khan Wardak was a special military expert and had a deep and strong understanding at political affairs.
He was like an ideal school, Madrasa (Islamic School) and such a college that he was full of knowledge and techniques, purity, trustworthy and welfare. He always tried and struggled to solve the problems and affairs by diplomacy, communications and speeches.
He was not only a national hero and leader but was also kind and had generous towards orphans, needless people. He destroyed and abolished the enemies and cruel people who were oppressing on the poor and needless people and he stopped, prevented the enemies oppressing and cruelty and was also hurdle to their bad and evils thoughts and concepts.
He was not only the keeper and guard of his homeland, and also taught the lesson of bravery, sacrifice and boldness to the children of his homeland. He lived simple and had simple life. He never departed from his motherland and he loved his people, nations and homeland.
He was a great military, political and national leader.
Ghazi Bismillah Khan Wardak established some schools, Madrasas, Islamic Learning Schools, clinics (Stable and Mobile Clinics) by the support of some of the NGOs like ISLAMIC LAJNA DAWAT and IRC for the children and people of his homeland.

Lt Gen Ghazi Bismillah Khan Wardak has 6 sons, Colonel Haji Ehsanullah Khan WARDAK is oldest son, he studied military academy of Afghanistan in Daoud Khan regime. After the fall of President Daoud Khan regime he went with his father to start jihad against communist regime. He was Division commander in the east under command of Mahaz-I Milli ( Pir Sayed Ahmad Gailani) party. During the civil war in Afghanistan he cut all his relation with all Jihadi parties and he was in WARDAK province until fall of Mujahedeen regime. During the Taliban regime he worked with several NGOs for the moment he is not working. Commissar Bilal WARDAK is the oldest son of Haji Ehsanullah Khan WARDAK which is grandson of Lt Gen Ghazi Bismillah Khan Wardak for the moment he is an active man in Lt Gen Ghazi Bismillah Khan Wardak family and he has strong relation with all Lt Gen Ghazi Bismillah Khan Wardak contacts. According to European Union Police magazine; Commissar Bilal Wardak is working at the EUPOL (European Union Police) Security Department as a National Senior Security manger. He is an Afghan National Police Officer who has worked as a crime scene investigation expert at different police districts in Kabul and as a Program Specialist for the Deputy Minister of Policy and Strategy at the Afghan Ministry of Interior during the years 2007 and 2008. Commissar Bilal has a bachelor’s degree in the field of Commissariatf from the ANPA (Afghanistan National Police Academy). He has Studied economics at Kabul University and currently he studies for his Masters in the field of Public Management and Leadership in Mustafa University in Kabul. Commissar Bilal is specialized in crime scene investigation and Criminal analysis by using professional methods he was taught at the Afghan National Police Academy by national and European police Trainers.
