3. Biodata:
zadran_amanullahAmanullah Khan Zadran was a former Taliban leader when the Islamist group was in power, but defected after the Nato-led mission forced the group out. He was briefly the Minister for Tribal and Border Affairs. He was affiliated with the Rome group.

Amanullah's older brother, Pacha Khan Zadran, whose forces had always resisted the Taliban, had been briefly appointed the Governor of Paktia in December 2001, had fought with other tribal militia leaders, had been replaced by a newly appointed governor, and had refused to willingly surrender power. American forces eventually took a role in this local civil war, and characterized Pacha Khan Zadran a renegade, and he went underground. The BBC reported that both Amanullah and Pacha Khan were handed over to the Afghan authorities by Pakistani authorities in February 2004.

Most recently, Amanullah Zadran has been an advisor to Karzai for eastern areas of the country

Zadran's brother, Mirza Ali Zadran, his uncle and cousin were killed in an incident, when their vehicle struck a roadside mine.(20120821)
