3. Biodata:
hashim_muhammadHaji Muhammad Hashim Muhammad Hashem Khan, son of Haji Muhammad Ali, was born in 1960, in Maimana district, Faryab province. Hashim completed his secondary education at Harbi High School in 1981. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Military University of Kabul in 1979.

Hashim served in the military for more than 20 years. Afterwards, he entered the oil, gas and transportation business and is now the Director of the Etehad Brothers Company in Faryab and Balkh provinces.  Hashim gained the highest vote count in Faryab province.
 

Commission (2012): National Economy, NGOs, Rural Development, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry.

Mohammad Hashim, who represents northern Faryab,  is a member of a newly-created “National Unity" group (the 9th group) in Wolesi Jirga to protect “the national interests” and promote “national unity.” A lawmaker from western Herat province, Ghulam Farooq, had been appointed as head of the group, Kabul MP Farhad Saddiqi as his deputy and female lawmaker from southwestern Nimroz province, Fareshta, as secretary.(20140120)


He secured 3,867 votes in Wolesi Jirga 2018 election and got a seat in WJ 2018.

 

He is married and has six children.
 

Hashimi speaks Dari, Uzbek and Pashto.
