Worked for Kabul Hospitals for 13 years, then for international NGOs. After receiving her degree, she began working as a doctor in Wazir Akbar Khan and Malalai hospitals in Kabul, as well as in the provincial hospital of Kunduz. She also worked with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) for one year. Aziz participated in the Emergency Loya Jirga in 2002, and in the Peace Jirga representing Kunduz province in 2010.
Her brother is the representative of the Ministry of Economy in the Provincial Administration of Kunduz. Her husband is an engineer.
Fatima was a Representative from Kunduz to the three day National Consultative Peace Jirga in Kabul in June 2nd, 2010.(20111014) which was attended by some 1,600 people including tribal elders, lawmakers, social and political figures as well as government officials.
