3. Biodata:
Azimi_NafisaEng. Nafisa Azimi, daughter of Muhammad Naeem, was born in 1973, in Kabul province. Azimi finished her school at Afshar High School, Kabul province, and got her bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering from the Kabul Polytechnic University in 2002. Azimi worked as a social and health worker which has led to connections with civil society organizations. Azimi is close to Mohaqiq and Hezb-e-Wahdat Islami Mardom Afghanistan.

Azimi has worked in Ghazni for many years as a social and health worker. She worked from 1993-1997 as a teacher at the Shuhada Girls High School in Jaghori, Ghazni province and as a social worker for Future Generations, an organization working in Ghazni, in 1999. From 2000-2003, she managed Ghazni Rural Support Program (GRSP) training classes in the Jaghori district of Ghazni province, while attending nursing courses. Following this, in 2005 she was elected to Ghazni’s Provincial Council, winning first place in the province with 16,842 votes, and served as chair of the council from 2006-2009.

She is married and has four children, two sons and two daughters.

She  speaks Dari and Pashto.
