Ihsan is the Program Director for Sanayee Development Organization, one of the leading peacebuilding organizations in Afghanistan. His primary tasks include designing, monitoring, and evaluating programs on peacebuilding and conflict resolution. He is also actively involved in community-based peacebuilding. He completed his MA in Development Studies from Kimmage Development Studies Center, Dublin, Ireland.

Akbar Sarwari is currently the Executive Director of Shuhada Organization, a local organization based in Kabul Afghanistan. Hussain Hasrat is a researcher at the research and policy unit of AIHRC; working with civil society institutions and student activists in the realm of peace studies and peacebuilding in Afghanistan. He has degrees on law and political science and 8 years experience as human rights activist in the field of theory and practice.

Stanikzai is the Herat Regional Office Manager of SDO, and he has been with this organization since 2001 starting as peace education, trainer and manager for several peace related activities. Currently they are undertaking two peace related projects: conflict transformation/peacebuilding and training for peace mediators and resource persons.

Fakhria is presently studying Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at Kabul University. She joined CPAU in 2005 as Trainer and after a year she worked as monitor of peace education project. She currently works as researcher in research and advocacy program. Fakhria has been a very important participant of different CPAU research field studies including a study on Religious Civil Society, Role of Civil Society in formation and reformation of policies, as field researcher in Human Security Indicators project in Kabul city and many small field research and case studies inKabul and other provinces of Afghanistan and she has participated in different research, advocacy, and peacebuilding program inside and outside

Salahuddin Darwesh joined CPAU in 2004 as a trainer and currently works as Program Officer of Peacebuilding Program. He has joined different CPAU research field studies including a study on Religious Civil Society, Sources of Radicalization Study, and Role of Civil Society in formation and reformation of policies. He managed the informal justice mapping project in Helmand province, and human security indicators project in five provinces and 15 districts of the country. Salahuddin has conducted numerous trainings in peacebuilding, as well as advocacy basic skills for participation in good governance for local Shuras members, NGOs workers and university students and teachers.
