3. Biodata:
Zaki_QuadratullahQudratullah Zaki, son of Mawlawi Ezatullah Shaheed, was born in 1979 in Bangidistrict, Takhar province. Zaki completed his secondary education at the Sayed Jamaluddin High School in Peshawar, Pakistan, in 1995. He then went on to earn his bach elor’s degree in journalism from the University of Istanbul, Turkey, in 2004.

During his studies in Turkey, Zaki participated in political and social activities as a member of the Afghan Student’s Committee in Turkey. He participated in the International Conference of the World Turk Tabaran in Romania as a representative of Afghan youths in 2004, where he was selected to be a member of the Writer’s Committee. He is the director of the Shaheed Zaki Cultural and Social Foundation.
 

Zaki participated in the 2010 Peace Jirga. His brother, Sebghatullah Zaki, was also a member of parliament in 2005, but was killed during his term in office in a 2007 suicide bombing in Baghlan factory.
 

Quadratullah Zaki is a independent Wolesi Jirga 2010 member. He is a critic of  the Kabul administration.

Mohammad Farid, the brother of Zaki and deputy governor of Takhar, said three bodyguards of Qudratullah Zaki,were injured during a Taliban armed attack on his convoy in northern Baghlan province on Monday, Apr 15, 2018 at around 4:00pm in the Chaharshanbai locality of Baghlan-i-Markazi district.

Qudratullah Zaki was confirmed as minister of Transport and Civil Aviation with 165 out of 248 votes.(20201130)
