Said Najib Yousofi migrated 1987 from Afghanistan to Germany where her finished his school education and became an engineer in Media Business Technology. He is living close to Hamburg, Germany. He is the founder of Herai TV in Herat City, Afghanistan, which has been established in 2005 and is expanding to Mazar-I-Sharif, Balkh Province. Said Najib Yousofy is a German-Afghan and long-time staff member of the German TV station NDR. Background: Herai TV station aims to support the people with education of children and adolescents, social equality of women, general education and advices for everyday life, public participation in film projects about the own life, especially to cope with the traumas of war, assistance in rebuilding the regional market, opening the minds for environmental issues. The numbers of schools and universities in Herat that are actively involved in the programmes is therefore being highly increased. Regional programmes are to provide a well-balanced programme that represents all ethnic groups.
