3. Biodata:
Mohammed Younus (also known as Shireen Aqa), son of Mohammed Rasul, was born in 1961 in the district of Nahrin in Baghlan province. In 1968, he joined Nahrin High School and he graduated from Umar Farooq High School in Pul-e Khumri. Younus joined the mujahideen front in 1979 and served as a commander of mujahideen in Nahrin for 13 years. Younus handed in his weapon after the mujahideen victory and launched his own business. From March 21, 1988 to September 29, 1988, he traveled to Pakistan for medical treatment. In 2005 he went to Dubai for a globalization seminar. Younus speaks Dari and Pashto. He is not affiliated with any political party. He was indirectly elected to the Meshrano Jirga through provincial council elections. He is married and has sixteen children.
