3. Biodata:
Mohammad Hashim Watanwal was born in 1952 in Oruzgan Province. He is a Pashtun and hails from Popolzai tribe. He has graduated from Faculty of Science Kabul University and was awarded B.A. During the Taliban Period he immigrated to Pakistan, Russia and Sweden. He was a member of the former Khalqi Party.

He was killed along with Jan Mohammad Khan a senior adviser to President Karzai. (20110717) Unknown gunmen have stormed the house of a senior aide to President Karzai, Jan Mohammad, in Kabul killing him and an Afghan MP representing Oruzgan, police officials said.
