Nasser-Zia_HamidHamidu'llah Khan Nasser-Zia was born 1951. He is a member of the royal afghan family. He is a cousin of former afghan King Mohammed Zahir Schah, who was toppled in 1973. Nasser-Zia followed the King, and went into exile in Rome 1979, where the King lived. Married 1975 to Fatima Begum (born at Kabul, 1954, younger daughter of Pir Sayyid Ahmad Gailani [Agha Effendi], sometime spiritual leader and mujahedin commander, by his wife, Adila Begum, eldest daughter of Sardar 'Abdu'l Baqi Khan. m. (second) Roxana Vakili. Hamidullah Nasser-Zia was the first Ambassador of Afghanistan in Berlin since nearly 25 years and resumed Office in September 2002. In his childhood Nasser-Zia, son of the afghan Ambassador to Moscow, spent some weeks in Berlin to cure a severe cold in a Dahlem Hospital (Berlin) specialised on children diseases.
