3. Biodata:
Akhlaqi_Ali_UstadUstad Muhammad Ali Akhlaqi is the son of Hussain Ali and was born 1972 in Malistan District of Ghazni province.  Akhlaqi completed basic Islamic studies at the Rawzawya Seminary in Malistan District, Ghazni Province. He has a master’s degree in Sociology from the Emam Khamenae University of Iran, which he earned in 2001.

Akhlaqi was previously affiliated with Hezb-e-Wahdat Islami Mardom Afghanistan but is
now without affiliation.

Akhlaqi is a writer and has published widely on cultural issues. In 2002, he established the Markez Taqiqat (Social Research) Center, which was formally registered as an organization in the Ministry of Economy. This organization published books on the Loya Jirga, women’s rights, violence against women, and the disabled in Afghanistan among other subjects. It ceased to be active in 2010.

Akhlaqi ran unsuccessfully for parliament in 2005, earning 5,005 votes.
