3. Biodata:
Aimaq_Ustad_NajyaMrs. Ustad Najia Aimaq, daughter of Alhaj Juma Khan, was born 1967 in Pul-i-Khumri District, Baghlan Province. Her family originates from the Dahna Ghori area. Aymaq finished her primary and secondary education at Islam Qala School, Pul-i Khumri in 1984. She received her bachelor’s degree in Literature at the Pedagogical University of Kabul in 1991.

Najia Aimaq, the second female winner in Baghlan Province in Wolesi Jirga Election 2010 is also a sitting MP. A Tajik from Dahana-e Ghori, she is known as a supporter of Dr. Abdullah’s opposition movement. Before being voted into Parliament in 2005, she was the head of the Baghlan teacher training institute. She was a member of the Committee on Cultural and Religious affairs in Wolesi Jirga 2005. She belongs to an ethnic minority tribe, the Aimaq tribe. She is close to Jamiat-e Islami.

Aymaq was also a member of the Emergency Loya Jirga, representing Baghlan province.
 

She is married and has no children.
